Tele daddie mounting Q

For alpine setup, where should the boot midsloe go?

there is a mount mark that is obvious, but it seems to be way foreward I believe it is for a tele boot (ball of the foot). There is another line less obvious which seems to be at about the right point for midsole. Is this line accurate?

I used to have mine mounted alpine (now they're tele), let me see if I can find a line and measure for you... hang on...

the tele mount indicated is too far forward for tele

Hmm, well, okay, so far as I can tell, I think they were mounted with alpine boot mid-mark right on the little dash line I see, which is about 31 inches from the tail. Is that what you are looking at?

To be honest, I really don't know exactly where they were mounted relative to that, but I a) didn't tell the shop to do something other than mount them normally, and b) don't see any other line, so I assume they mounted them there, and c) loved them wherever they were mounted.

EDIT: I can see a little black line in between toe and heel of current tele mount, that is the line I'm talking about. No clue if my tele mount is in the right place either...
