bought these from jumper with sollie 900's on them.
Owe too much money to school right now to keep 'em
Same ski as the Maiden, with that sexy blue top sheet.
Bases in great condition. Very few topsheet scratches, but 2 chips.

Selling them for what I got them for
    350+shipping

before you ask, the only length they made was 189

you know, that's what I thought too because I remember awhile ago my brother looking for these... but when I was at the Vail ski swap a few weeks ago, there were a pair of 198's... they were freaking huuuge... not sure if they were some special secret skis or something.

edit: and looking at how quick these were sold I should have bought them and resold them... they were in mint condition w/sally's for $350. damn.

198 by the k2 scale? that would be like 202 or something.

yeit, the 198 Kahuna was probably the old Big Kahuna, right???

Not the Kahuna derived from the Maiden?

Nope Kahuna Maiden variety (blue with the white stripe), in my mind the greatest graphic of all time. Granted I'm only 5'4 so long skis always look long to me... but they were marked 198 and remembering back to straight ski era when I would hold my hand above my head and grab the tip to size out race sticks (which would equate to 200's when I was in high school), that's how long they were. So not exact science, but sure as hell looked longer than 189s.

edit: and also they were next to last years navy big daddies and were definitely longer.

that sounds like the coolest ski ever, and with that length, it's a fair bet that they were a bit stiffer than normal kahunas.
Three fundamentals of every extreme skier, total disregard for personal saftey, amphetamines, and lots and lots of malt liquor......-jack handy

Those skis have been running arround Vail for a couple years now, I heard they were 200s.
