    Snowboard for an OGRE

    my friend has a size 15 foot. looking to progress this year by riding at bridger and doing some bigger lines. he is looking to buy last years board and spend around 400$. any recommendations?

    baron es in a 160/164 maybe? seen some of last years on ebay for around that price.

    Donek Sasquatch. Awesome construction, great board. If he asks, they'll make him one in any size he wants. Then he has to find boots and binders. Good luck on that. Tell him to watch out for bindings with ramped toes - the ramps will be under the ball of his foot.

    No cap strap for your friend. Otherwise riser plates on a 26cm wide board might help.

    I've always thought K2 had the wide things down (though never the glamorous choice for a snowboard). I've ridden a Nemesis (I'm a size 13 shoe) for a few seasons now and I'm a satisfied customer.

    I also recommend a Donek. I have an Incline in a 168, as well as one of the race boards. The longest length freeride boards are stiff.
