    My new job

Well after a million phone calls and online aps (okay actually only 4 calls and 1 online ap) I scored a job. The funny thing is it is the same job I had lined up 2 months ago and lost. Now as of an hour ago I am again qualified for the position. So as of Dec 20 yours truly will be back to driving a cat at Snowmass. Yep workin gravey and skiing everyday....I wonder if they got the double secret riding privelages on full moon like my old cat job provided.

As if this day could get any better I check my mailbox and discover the arrival of both Powder and Backcountry, it just doesn't get any better then this.

i've always wondered what kind of experience you need to get a job as a snowcat operator.

Has to do a lot more with attitude/personality/reliability as opposed to equipment experience. I got my first cat job with 0 experience, I was actually a snowmaker at the time.
