how cheap is Canada for gear

As far as I know ski dazzle is the only shop on mountain. With a name like ski dazzle, I find it hard to have any faith in their bootfitting skillz. Like I said, it's worth looking for something that fits primo in town, if you find it grab it up. Otherwise you can still try out the selection on mountain at ski dazzle (which ain't bad). As others have mentioned if you fly into Vancouver or Calgary, you do well to look into shops in those places as well.

IM SORRY I SHOULD HAVE SPELLED IT OUT... it's a gateway to european skiing... and gateway doesn't have to mean a place people fly through to get to the alps... the UK is PART OF EUROPE and therefore many a person go to the alps to ski... why... maybe because it rains here too much... or maybe because there isn't anything else to do in the UK... it might be similar to skiers from the midwest in the states
