Did you misspell "Jackson Hole?" I'm not sure how else you'd not find "any info." Seriously. Last year, a shit ton of us met up out there, and lodging info was slung all over this forum.

What are you trying to get at?

Cowboy Village- you get a little cabin, a hot tub and walk to the Virg, the Wort, 43, the Cowboy.

You can catch the bus to the hill right outside.

    And a kitchenette.

Not Hostel X cheap, but close.

I can't help it. It's in my nature to be a dick when a relative newbie comes into our house sniffing around for info without contributing.

I've yet to encounter anyone that's really a dick (other then myself) on this forum, newbies and oldtimers alike. As such, silvercartel is probably a very cool guy. However, you wouldn't know it by his grand total of 7 posts.

With that said, I concur that HostelX is the best way to go on a budget.

Depends on what you want. Super 8 in town is pretty cheap during the winter. We have a hook up at Snake river lodge and spa and normally stay there for 65 bucks! Yeah it rocks! If that is booked we stay with friends down at Hoback Junction. Quality Inn is also relatively cheap. Nightlife is ok at Teton Village too, the moose can definately go off at times.

Even a jong like me can use google. I'm going in Jan so I searched for Jackson Hole motels. Lots to choose from. Try it, it's fun.

The only problem with the HostelX is their 5 night minimum stay requirement for advance reservations. There's some bunkhouse in town that's cheap... but it's a bunkhouse in town.

Even the homeless mission makes for cheap lodging, but only the best skids know about it. Free dinner too!

There's a little parking lot next to HostelX that has some spots reserved, for the Hostel and I think for the local Hotels - funny how quickly the "reserved" signs get covered when it snows! Not that I recommend trespassing or sleeping in your vehicle when it's 15 degrees outside but, hey, it worked for me.. And the price helps counter the damned $75 lift tickets..

Jackson Hole Resort Lodging has been running banner ads on tetongravity.com, and we're talking to them about running some TGR branded travel packages. They tell us they have the best airfares into Jackson, and that they have some deeply discounted deals for local lodging and lift tickets. It might be worth checking with them.
