OK, how do I de-encrypt images?

I asked this once before, but I am having no success...have image hosters installed new software to encrypt image hot links with URL jibberish so they can't be leached?
How/what do I delete in the URL in order to make them linkable?

(sorry this isn't in Tech Talk, no one is over there..)

Is this a new trend all over the web?

They're probably just checking the referer header that the browser sends to the server. You have to copy the images to your own server to get around it.

you just have to figure out where the image really is. each host will use a different mechanism i bet.

Are you going to give us any examples, or shall we just use our imagination and make suggestions based on whatever we picture in our minds?

I'm cool with either way.
