No offense man, but I think you're sending out the wrong message here.

Please people, only vote if it is an INFORMED decision! I'm sick of all the hippies on campus spraying their shit on how everyone should vote vote vote!

Read then Vote. Or if your splat, "Shake then bake."

Are you suggesting we should let five year olds vote? They can read and listen.

Hmmmm... I think I'm gonna stick with quality over quantity.

Then I assume you agree that the 04' election was stolen?

'Quantity' appeared to mean 'red staters'...and they were obviously inbred, ignorant clowns. So what is 'quality'?

I'm not sure the electoral college reference is valid for my argument. It seems as though that was/is all numbers and doesn't have much to do with how individuals vote.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

I have heard people say things like, "his name sounded funny, so I voted for him"

I mean, christ, that is far worse than not voting.

I didn't get the impression thats what chitown meant, but the people that think that way are probably too stupid to tell the difference anyways.

I'm pretty sure that's not what he was saying. Way to twist his words. Jeesus - seems like not a single thread these days doesn't end up getting all twisted.

I was going to post the same thread: DON'T FORGET TO VOTE, but figured somehow people would turn it into something it wasn't.

And low and behold, this thread has already managed to divide people without even being partisan.

    sheesh.

When was the last time you used this, for your candidate?

So true and so unfortunate. It always amazes me how the difference in communication (i.e., face to face, instantaneous vs. post, wait, reply) affects the way words are interpreted.

    Bump for the message. Vote!

We are a lucky people VOTE

It’s not just about who you send to congress and the senate.

I voted for a new city council representative
I voted for a new County sheriff
I voted NO for anything that smelled like new local taxes
I voted to legalize marijuana in the state of Nevada

I read and voted on about 70 things, it took almost an hour.
I voted on Saturday October 14th

I like the early electronic balloting we have in Washoe County.

If you don't take the time to research the people, the issues register and cast your ballot, you have no reason to bitch about anything!!

STAND UP AND BE COUNTED IT MATTERS

    VOTED....bump

If you can get your 5 year old a ballot, let him cast it. He'll likely make a more informed decision then most because it will be his own, as opposed to most brainwashed chronies in this country.

And although (not chief but...) Sheriff Wiggins was almost too funny to pass up, I definitely could not bring myself to vote for him!

I dont know if this is any sort of indicator, but since last morning, when word got out that the republicans gained some ground in the polls, the mkt is on fuego, this morning too.

Don't know, lots of merger's and shit in the news, support still ruling the mkt, but I imagine the election has some bearing on it all. My first bet would be, that greed is a sign of continued tax cuts.

I am not trying to cast my opinion on it, just gonna be an interesting day thats all. POlls should be out soon.

I voted a few weeks ago via absentee ballot so I won't have to wait in a line.
