    I'm not.

I drove in to work today... up the Route 1 corridor of central Jersey... Raritan Bay to the right... smoke stacks to the left... the water tower of the Rahway Federal Prison glistening in the morning sun.. yup, back in Jersey.

    Dammit.

Me too, back at work. I still have this white blur going on in my head though.

Don't worry, I have a feeling the East Coast is gonna get some snow this weekend...

That would make a kickass return to the East Coast after being in Washington for the last three weeks, ease the suffering of going back to tiny "mountains"

This might make you feel better. I was riding up the Strawberry gondy with a couple of strangers and we were making small talk. I mentioned I was here with some "friends" and eventually they got me to admit I was meeting my nerdy internet friends. They then commented that some of our board names were cool and one of them singled out your's, "Road trip. Heh. I like that one." So I guess you've got that goin' for ya.

Following the soiree at Goldminer's Daughter on Friday, Barnballs discovered, next to his skis, a pair of Scott poles, one with the basket missing, and thought that they were yours. He tossed them in the back of my car intending to get them back to you. I discovered them while unloading yesterday.

Nice. I've always wanted carbon fiber poles!
