    PSA- Free Avi DVD from Pieps

    This is link to the Pieps web page. You can order a good avi safety DVD free of charge. They sent mine out and it took about two weeks. It comes from Austria. I ended up buying a Pieps beacon, and it included the DVD, so now I have two. I would be happy to mail it out to anyone competent in avi training to see if they think it is any good and worth promoting to others. I am returning to back country travel this year after too many years away (we used to trail avi cords with arrows back in the day.)

    why does everyone feel the need to say "pm sent"? Can't y'all just send it without sending some sort of wedding announcement to the rest of us?

    Isn't it in German? I got one and IIRC mine was. Nothing new in it if you know your stuff (und verstehe was die sagen), but some cool footage and a good Austrian flavour (terrain, conditions, the way their rescue ops work).
