I saw all of the runs Friday. Romaine's run was so hands down unfreakingbelieveable that there wasn't even a close second. Everyone who witnessed it knew they had seen something on a whole new level. I have slow dialup so I dont know what video is on here but I'm sure this video doesn't come close to showing how huge he really went. His last one was well over 120 feet.

Irregardless as to whose numbers are correct, that was one sick fuckin' run. Never seen anything like it. Too bad that was the one day I DIDN'T watch. The wife wanted to ski.. so...

The biggest air any competitors took couldn't have been more than 60. The lawn dart thrown by the forerunner, yes, the forerunner, was probably more like 80 to 100 vertical feet, as well as many feet in the horizontal. Few people saw it since he went at 9 AM, but the bombhole was distinct.

60 - 70 looks about right for that last air in the winning run, regardless it was one of the smoothest and burliest runs to to bottom I've ever seen....FKNA!

    Strong...to quite strong.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

Arguing numbers is stupid. It was big, it was fast, it was smooth, and it makes me want to be out there.

A man who would rather hang with his wife than go to a comp is not a sissy, he is called a great husband. Props to you!!

Edit: But I will be riding with my wife this weekend. Hey, she came up with the idea, I got it made!!!

What're you talking about? EVERYONE saw it! You must not have been there or else you wouldn't question it. His humungous run was like 3rd to last on Fri. I'll try to view whatever the above link is tonight to see what you're looking at.

Where can I find the results of the Comp. A local boy from beaver MT. mentioned in the Trib article seemed to have good runs, I would like ot find out how he placed.

I'm talking about the 100+ foot lawn dart thrown by a forerunner at 9 AM. You're referring to Maitre's final air, which was also hit by Aaron Hunt and Rick Greener on their final runs. I think that air is more in the 50 to 60 foot range. There's a picture of Rick Greener hitting that air somewhere in this thread - the one where he's upside down.
