i guess that's what happens when you're a lunatic skier who's probably been injured more often than not over the past 10 years.
sickness.

Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.
Seize the day, trusting little in the future.
if you want something, go after it. if you want to screw someone over, look DEEP in your heart and realize Karma is a bitch

- I couldn't see anything in the vid. Shane's huge balls were in the way.
- Just exactly why do BASE jumpers wear a helmet? It would make a difference at those velocities?
Every man dies. Not every man lives.
You don’t stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.
If they open the chute a little late and are going a little quick on the landing, the helmet would probably help (since they would probably fall). Like wearing a bike helmet- if you get hit by a train, the helmet wont matter, but if you fall off your bike at a good rate of speed, the helmet is coming in handy.

Wow ... that's fucking cool.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
Everyone needs to believe in something. I believe I will have another beer!
The real question is "why NOT wear a helmet?"
anyone got a link to his camp website (assuming he has one). Google search yielded nothing.
"In the woods, we return to reason and faith. There I feel that nothing can befall me in life, — no disgrace, no calamity, (leaving me my eyes,) which nature cannot repair." -Emerson
Death camp is for losers. Try http://www.milesdaisher.com instead...the "camp" page has been under construction forever....just send Miles D an email and tell him you wanna learn to jump.
