    Bros Question

I am thinking about getting a pair of bros for a tele set up.

I want to use Rottefella Cobra R8 Binding on them but the question is:

I can not decide is do I want the shorter 179 to ski the trees in the east or go for the bigger 188 because I weight in at 200.

    Any thoughts

188 in soft or 178 is stiff. I'd go longer softer.

I agree with mountain lion. I bought longer/softer and used bombers. I ski trees (poorly but without incident). I think the r8's will prove to be a good binding choice. If the board doesn't satisfy your question try calling splat. He set me straight and answered all of my questions completely and with more detail than I was capable of taking in. Good choice, great ski.
Edit to add: I weigh 185

For EC tree skiing, I recommended the 179. I'm his weight and the softs are great, but the stiff rail harder. They're coming in at around 4mm camber. And he's talking EC tree skiing. My 188s felt long in the trees of Quebec last season. The 179s were friendlier there.
