    179 Seths on Midsole?

I did a search for this and found nothing. I'm contemplating mounting my 179 Seths on the midsole mark. I want a little more in the front of the ski than where I had my Seths at last year...2.5 forward. I never ski backwards and am wondering if anyone else has tried this. If you know, is there too little tail when you mount on the midsole?

Thanks for the help, The Whore

Skied them at 0 and at +3.5. Ended up going +3.5 for quickness in tight spots, but 0 would have been ok as well. They didnt feel like they were too short in the tails at 0. They still turn pretty quick with all that sidecut at 0.

I've got my 1st gen pistols at +2 after having it at 0 and I have to say I'm much happier where they are now. They do dive a bit more but I still prefer them this way as an all around ski, but by no means are they bad at 0.

I'm talking about the SV...I had last years at 2.5 forward and liked them but wanted more up front at times. If groomed is the only thing I'm going to be missing out on with mounting closer to midsole, I think I'll try it. My graph is the same on my SVs this year as my pair last year.

Why are some saying the graph is different? Mine is the same...wierd.
