    K2 Warranty

I sent my Seth Pistols back to K2 a month ago. While in the process of moving over the past few days, I cant seem to find my RA #.

I emailed K2 yesterday to see if I could get an update on the status of my skis. They have no way of locating my skis w/o an RA#. They advised me to check with the shop I went through and get the number that they had on file. The shop told me, when I called them today, they dont have those files anymore.

Anyone have experience with the K2 warranty policy? If so, about how long till I find out whats going on with my skis?

It's the shop's job to find your shit. Remind them of that.

what shop are you dealing with (pm me so you don't piss the wrong person off...)
Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.

Seize the day, trusting little in the future.

if you want something, go after it. if you want to screw someone over, look DEEP in your heart and realize Karma is a bitch

x2. Not a K2 issue. If the shop took them in on warranty and lost them, one way or another that shop owes you a pair of skis.

Annoyed customer service reps at ski companies like to tell you that they can only order your shop product if you give them your account number, and that they can only find your RA if you give them your RA number. Neither is true. You just caught someone on a bad day. Call back and talk to someone else and I bet you they can look up all RA's issued to the shop you sent the skis in with.

(but if I was you I'd avoid that shop from now on if they can't even keep track of an RA)

ps-K2 used to be 4-6 weeks for warranty claims. This time of year I'd guess it'll be closer to 6.
