Making Wide Brakes (Remove the arms from the brake housing problems)

Hey, I've got some Salomon 912tis that came with the regular brakes. Not so useful on my skis (98mm waist), so I need to bend them. I understand and am capable of bending them after I get them out of the damn housing! However, Im tenative about getting in there with a screwdriver and prying the actual steel out of the brake housing. If someone could be a little specific and help me get them out with minimal damage, that would be great.

    Pics of the brakes above!

    Thanks,
    Bart

slide them out from between the metal plate on the part of the brake thats mounted to the binding. edit: which I see youve already done

then rotate the arm all the way 180, wiggle, pull, wiggle, rotate, pull, whala

    no scerwdrivers are needed

no prying/tools neccessary to remove brake arms from sollys. just pull the arms forward out of the part you stand on, the part shown in your 3rd picture (not the lever part). The arms will then be able to move around freely in the lever part (shown in your 1st two pics), and you can just angle them out by hand.

edit: too slow, pech already answered.
