    Völkl V-Pro?

Hey Euros...and all the others in the know.

The price on these seem pretty tempting. Not that I really need new skis but just curious:

Any info on the skis? Austria/German made(=pre-China era?). How are those compared to the (legendary) g40/g41?

I'm thinking those would be nice all-mountain tele-skis..or a nice all-mountain groomer / park skis in general. (I've always thought 190 twin for park would be nice)

Sidecut is pretty straight at least, compared to the most more modern all-mountain twins...

I have the model prior to those.
They are softer than the G40/41.
They are fun in the park and on the groomed. I don't think they are too good in crud or heavy snow. I really don't ski mine much any more. Unless they are a great deal you might have more fun on something different. But I did love them for a year or two.

    Hope it helps.

In principle, the V-Pro was the predecessor of Karma... So softer than G40 (as miniracer pointed out) is sure bet.

    Oh, and Made in Germany...

And yep, should be gr8t for Talma park or tele's .

in a 190 they'd be fine for off-piste. solid ski, nice all-rounder. softer than a g4, but def not noodles.

Thanks for the quick (and informative) answers!

Seems like pretty good skis. Not sure if I need them though...

I just got some 180s (new balet skis for me) but ain't skied em yet. They seem decent for being short and skinny. Not soft but not particularily stiff either.

They came with (just short heel pieces, which I didn't need and the seller did)
