Problems playing Anomoly in PS2

The title pretty much says it all. The intro material (standstrong again, previews, etc.) skips, freezes up and does just about eveything else but play. Once I press stop and head to the main menu and press play the movie itself, thankfully,(it is a sick film by the way) plays fine. Like the intro stuff the Extras also do not play. When I tried it in my laptop everything appeared to work ok. Just curious to see if anyone else has had any other problems playing those parts of the DVD on PS2.

I talked with our Author and Duplicator for you, pretty much they said that can happen but shouldn't outside the PS2/X-box. They said that the lasers on those machines get so used and worn out that they don't play DVD's as good as a normal DVD player would. Makes sence to me, if you have a 3-5 year old PS2 and use it a ton you're probably burning out the laser. You said that the DVD played in your CPU so it sounds like he's right, your DVD is probably fine but your PS2 might be wearing out... I'm not a tech guy, but we've shipped out a few thousand of the Anomaly DVD's and this is the first problem we've heard about...it's probably just your PS2 player...

Yeah, it happens on my PS2 also. I doesn't play some DVDs sometime. As Young Yeezy said, it's the PS2 not the DVD.

Thanks for taking the time to look into it. I really appreciate it. My Playstation is at least that old so that would explain the problem. I am overdue for a DVD player upgrade anyway. York, thanks again for taking the time to check it out. Reason number 6,067 that this place rules!
