    Props to Giro/Bell...

    Their customer service rules!

Somehow the screw casing on my visor stripped out. Sent it back to the warranty department and Valerie called saying she'd send me a new one if I wanted. I told her I liked my helmet and if there was any way to fix it, I'd be happy with that. She worked on it and gave me a call to let me know she fixed it. Showed up today after being gone for about a week.

Gotta give credit where it's due.

    Anyone else with similar situations?

Yes, this is the same helmet I lost last year while hitchhiking, for those of you that remember.

I had a Giro 9 save my life, does that count?

Unfortunately they said they'd send me a new one but it has never arrived. Oh well. Still stoked they make a solid product.

I sent in my 4 year old 9 mx a little while ago because paint was peeling off the top. Not only did they replace it with a new one, but they gave me a 10 mx instead. Definitely happy with Giro customer service.
Btw powstash, it took mine awhile to get returned also. Have you recieved a letter in the mail about it being warrantied yet? I called Giro up to ask when my helmet was going to arrive, and they seem to have tracking numbers their stuff, because they were able to tell me when it was coming.

Send it in and report back soldier.

I, too, have had good experience with the Bell/Giro customer service folks.

Our world is full of surrender at the first sign of adversity, do not give up when the challenge meets you, meet the challenge. Through perseverance comes the rewards, the rewards that make life so enjoyable.

Seize the day, trusting little in the future.
