Mine opened up as an Adobe PDF file. Maybe drag-n-drop it?

Also, I posted in your other thread about using the quickstart free ticket on Thursday Jan. 11 (actually, just now realizing that Thursday is the 11th, though we were describing it as the 10th in that thread, but anyway) -- my flight lands in SLC at 11:45AM that day. Want to hook up & head for Park City?

Maybe I got a downlevel version of Adobe, I get an error message "because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted (for example, it was sent as an e-mail attachment and wasn't correctly decoded)" Oh well.

I'm game for hooking up on Thursday (which I guess is actually the 10th ) PM me your flight details and we'll set a time and place to meet.

Will do. That Thursday is definitely Jan 11th, not Jan 10th.

Anyone else in this camp know if we are at Snowbird for all 3 days, and if so, do we need tram-access tickets every day? I'm searching for lift tix deals. Snowbird tram tix = $64 at the window, but Utah Superpass = $50ish per day, and includes the tram.
Check ebay. SF found some BYU student passes that work out to $42 per day and are transferrable to non-students.

So I was looking this up and came across this deal. These look legit? Another nice option. My buddy and I are planning on scooping if it checks out.

Those are what we bought. Haven't tried them yet. Whoever is selling them got them for $64 but $89 for two days still isn't bad.

    Thanks Conundrum --

I just called the Marriott in Sandy where we're staying -- they sell the 1-day Superpass for $50 (they don't sell the multi-day superpass), which covers the Snowbird tram, so not a bad price. The Marriott said that Canyon Sports is right across the street from them, and they sell discount tickets to the other resorts (i.e. if we need Alta-only for day #3, it'll be cheaper to buy an Alta ticket at Canyon Sports rather than use the $50 Superpass).

I'm going to go with the Superpass from the Marriott -- decent deal, no risk with an ebay seller to save $3-4.

Can you get more than one of these per day? If not, I'll just go with the ebay option.

I don't see why not -- they're just preprinted vouchers that you turn in at the lift ticket window for Alta/ Snowbird/ Solitude/ Brighton in exchange for a full-day lift ticket.

You would only need 1 per person per day, assuming you're only skiing 1 resort per day.

Cool, I think the hotel we are staying at does discounts as well (Best Western Executive Inn, 5 miles up the road), but the deal may not be as good. I'd rather have one less thing to worry about going wrong before we get there.

Rental car is booked as well so I think we are set for Thursday.

One final bump for anyone who may not have gotten Gordy's email this morning. Executive summary weather forecast for the weekend: f'n cold.

I bought these at lunch today at REI:

    http://www.rei.com/online/store/Prod...cat=REI_SEARCH

$30 and looking dorky, vs. frostbitten toes... relatively easy decision.

    ^^^ We all will.

I think I'll bring an extra layer in case we end up standing around in the snow for awhile. I'm warm enough while skiing, even in 0 degree temps, but if I have to stand still awhile I'll get cold.

Yeah, I'm think about skiing w/ my pack so I can carry an extra layer and extra gloves.

On that note, don't forget the gloves. Last time I had an issue on a single digit day, it was caused by a pair of worn out gloves.

I got a pair of Black Diamond's Guide for the trip. Black Diamond says they are good for -15F to 15F.

It was about time for new pair of cold storm gloves anyways.

Having woken up at 2AM with the intense need to spend the next 45min on the toilet passing 18 gallons of watery fecal matter, and having completed my finest night's sleep by puking at 6AM, I'm out of the camp.

Flu bug smacked me down like a sledgehammer on a wounded fawn. I sent Gordy an email; hopefully I can get in to one of the other camps this year.

Glad you two were still able to use the hotel points. I'm back at work today, feeling basically normal. Slept 15hrs straight last night, with the aid of Nyquil.

Gordy sent me an email: I'm in for the March 2-4 camp, and on the waitlist for the 2 February camps in case something opens up there.
