Oakley Wisdom helmet strap

I have 2 pairs of Oakley Wisdoms and they don't fit over my new Giro Encore. If I get only one optional helmet strap will it be easy to interchange the strap between my two pairs of goggles? How does the strap work in terms of installing it on the goggles?

the strap just pulls straight out, you've got to wiggle it a little bit. it's easy enough to change day to day.

check the strap connection. does the strap connector snap in place? i think my a-frames were like this. it had a little plastic ball joint that plugged into the goggle frame. i ended up getting two straps for my a-frames as it seemed that the plastic would eventually wear out (or break) from all the changes. plus it's worth the extra $10 or so not to have to fiddle with swapping them, especially if you are on the mountain.

fortunately, my new wisdoms fit fine over my giro fuses.

Switching the strap takes less than 1 min. It is very easy to do, so I would say you would be fine with one helmet strap. However, if you always plan on wearing your helmet, it may be a good idea to get 2, that way you don't have to worry about switching the strap, or potentially wearing out the mounting points.
