High Life, hands down. One of the best ski movies ever made.

Buy high life, if only for the avy tutorial in the bonus footage. I've been using it to scare my friends into playing smarter and thinking different about the bc.

no joke. MTA stirs something inside of me. Everytime i watch it, I progress. Between high life and prophecy... both. High life is better, but TGR makes such amazing films that you really can't go wrong with either.

To help you make your decision: I own both, and I've watched the Prophecy maybe 10 times. I've only had High Life for a month, and I've seen it at least twice a week. Usually more. It's such a well edited movie.

Prophecy is an awesome film without doubt - as soon as I receive my copy of High Life I will let you know how that is.

I've been waiting two weeks now though and the suspense is killing me - I could have snowshoed to Wyoming, picked up a copy and been back at home watching the thing by now. What is wrong with USPS delivery to Canada!!?

    Prophecy.

MTA is still my favorite, but if I had to buy 1 it would be the PSIA Level 2 training video.
You know, there's like a butt-load of gangs at this school. This one gang kept wanting me to join because I'm pretty good with a bowstaff.

High Life, no question. I do have a lotta love for MTA though, the Gordy/Swany/Spearhead pow segment has no equal.

    i agree.

drug this post up from the past, but i actually just picked up High Life a few days ago. although the filming quality is just getting better and better with tgr, i find that any attempt at a story in high life is just not well executed. all the diaglouge is far too direct and really overstates the obvious rather than letting the skiing do that part. MTA was a terrific film because the footage showed you how they felt. Prophecy was solid (Burks' segment is the best big mtn segment of all 3 movies IMHO), but all the talk of 'fusion' was a bit overdone i thought. High Life just didn't light the fire for me. Sage did pull off some great lines, but his skiing still lacks refinement when put next to that of Micah, Gordy, Kreitler, and Nobis. Not to show Kreitler hitting some classic Cham steeps was a big oversight.

Both, although the Prophecy is at home and High Life is in the DVD drive on my work laptop. Hmmmm, think I'll watch it again now.
