    Reccomend Me Some New Skis for the EC Right Here

    My local area will have a demo weekend at the end of December but I'd like to narrow it down to a few models before then so I'm looking to the Mags for a little advice: If pressed I would classify myself as a strong skier at 6' tall and 215lbs. I'd like something that will carve on eastern boilerplate but that's comfy at speed. Bullet-proof bumps or some park time are always in the mix 'cause sometimes that's the only way to have fun with 740 feet of vert. Should I be looking to a slalom ski or something more akin to the Volkl 5-star, or something else? Thanks in advance for your insight Maggots.
    Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better. Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube.

    Uh man, it's still early. I want to pad my post count but I don't have a witty response ready. Let me get some coffee and get back with you.

    Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?

    Bummer, 'cause I would really value the recommendation of an NYC pavement pounder. Later 'bater!

    LightlyToasted, check out this years Contact 11 (Dynastar).

    Oh yah: LT, I do not think you'll be able to make a noose large enough for the wannabe HC'ers.

    <d'baggery>
    WOW, all this love being hurled out kinda reminds me of a smokin' I was at way back (yah, back when this jongasaur roamed this rock), when the cops decided to piss on everybody’s parade. Fucked up many a wet dreams, which is all they're good fer!

    I guess it's all about the cocks making each other feel ... all squishy inside, and not passin' on props, or being helpful.

    Yah yah blah blah jimmyisjamin'onsomejibber'sjunk blah blah .. hey MA, look at me go down on this guys pipe.
    *cough*
    So, when are yah clowns going to bust in to yer line dance? Before or after your done throating?

    Thanks dude, I'll check 'em out. And I think the noose WILL be large enough since I made it using the metrics pulled from the circumfrence of Evan's dome.

    ok, nobody has really said it yet (it was mentioned), but to make this crystal clear, one of the reasons you're getting so much shit is

    Tech Talk, JONG!

    In other words, we have a great little forum for asking these types of questions, and people are just pointing out your jongness for posting here. Oh, and this might be a good read too: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=20100

    Much obliged captain obvious. You're a little late though as I realized my error in my 2nd post and have already made myself a noose. Unfortunately, this thread is stuck here until it gets moved by a mod or I delete it...which I was going to do but figured I'd take my medicine.

    Get some Armada Flippyspinny skis - they're made for the smaller EC hills.
