    Conditions update

So after anxiously waiting for I-70 to open yesterday we finally made it up to Loveland pass about 2:30 and rode till dark. Yes it was good, yes it was VERY deep - 25 plus inches - but it is still early season and there is allot of deadfall, rocks, and stumps that are not covered. Rock boards are still in full effect if you want to ride with abandon which is not a good idea anyway. Aside from that though this was another great storm ! The snow was not qiute as dry as what fell last Friday night( temps never fell below 26degrees while we were there) but face shots were still unavoidable if you turned out of the fall line in the least.

Although there wasn't a ton of people up there last night Loveland Pass was pretty well tracked by the time we left. I am sure the crew heading up for dawn patrol this morning will find some great turns, but it got hit hard enough that I decided to come into work today and save my days for later in the season, like December.
