    More October POW in Colorado

Ok, iskibc gets the Gold medal for those shots. just in case you are in the mood for more here are a few from Sunday. I was amazed at how much and how consistent the snow was. And not a rock in sight! We did not have sleds, so we had to work a bit harder. ugh.

Just have to wonder if it is going to keep it up and give us an epic early season like last year....???

Edit: Anymore Tr's like this, and I am going to jump in my tuck and blast out there, I swear it's giving me the shakes.

wow, that looks like great coverage. I'm not trying to scam your stash...but can you give a general geographical area? Maybe a county, or national forest, or something along those lines? Good to know what the snowpack is like in various areas...and obviously, yes, general areas where I should go scope for good turns. Any additional snowpack observations? (any pit data?...and if not, don't worry, I won't chastise you )

Those pics are ridiculous. Only one of the pics though gives any clue of the geography. I have my guesses though.

Near Copper Mountain....I'd like to know where the hell iskibc was on Saturday!! That looked incredible....even as good as it was for us on Sunday.
Snowpack was pretty stable and consolidated. Did not colapse or fracture at any point. And it was deep enough to pretty much cover all obsticles.

Those tailing ponds sure look better when covered with snow.

Cool, that's what I was looking for...thanks. I don't know for sure where he was, but I've got a guess, at least of an area, and maybe a specific spot. He did say north...

Some great pics in there. Nice job. That's a fun area for sure. Even with it's close proximity to the county, I've never ran into another group of skiers up around those parts.

Thanks for sharing and welcome to the jungle, JONG!
