Looked like it was snowing pretty good up there this morning.
After trying to use a giftcard at the wrong gas station and turning back because I forgot my pass, I finally made it to the hill...

... and realized that I forgot my boots too.
So here I sit at home, with no time for turns before work.

Riding up PK today, some girls two chairs up decided to heckle this dude for wearing a teal and white "snowsuit".

He stopped, gave them a thumbs up and so the guys one chair up decided to heckle him by saying "Hey man, don't let those chicks tell you who you are..."

... To which the blue and white skier responded "I'll show you who I am" and promptly hit a little lip on the top of the first cliff and sent the damn thing clear over the second. Throwing a styly grab for good measure and stomping it.

The lift absolutely erupted.

FKNA

In other news:
The pow up top was a little dense and I scrapped all the snow off the rocks in the entrance to the 4th finger, I figured it was a good dead to protect everyone elses ptex. You can pay me back later

I'd tear right into you, but after having done the same exact thing before, there's no room for me to talk shit on this!!!

Skied pretty well today, hit flippers allllllll day long. I was skiing with 2 snowboarder buddies that weren't big fans of bumpy runs, so realistically all we could ski was stuff off of PK - Bridger's out of the question, and with 10-dollar-day crowds don't even think about Alpine...

Anybody know the story of what's wrong with Deer Park? It'd have been nice to have it running to help with the crowds...

I know that it is broken, but that is it.

Alpine was a mess, but I think PK was even worse.

Bridger was pretty damn good though, at least for the first hour or so. Walk ons with 3+inches of that heavy stuff.

By the way, I made the daily video, there is a 3 second clip of me skating under the bridger lift. Awesome!

I'd be there, but I have knee surgery tuesday. So there's about a 100% chance I won't be able to ski in February.

well I'll give'r a bump again I guess...
-give my old man hell lexi- retired there since 97 and 100day seasons ever since? basard! (days=9to1ish mostly- Id very often see the folks' leavin as I was gettin there for the afternooner sesh)
-good luck to nE1 who proclaims to "not like" bumps skiin bridgerlift- it ain't like yer talkin wall-to-wall rutlines, just a bit of topography to time yer turns with and getcha that lofty feeling- I can't take PKlift- seems like such a long ride to nowhere with good turns on the face area then a long flat runout (however even the flats're gonna make my microMuscles buurrrn)
-sorry bout the knee aenig, catchya for the brewpub mini...
-bionicMT returns, got any airports in yer future to fuck with?

looks like another fine weekend of shredding around up there
better post a coupla crappy old cellpics to beautify a new page

Bridger was awesome today. Read 3 inches at 6 am, and now I am seeing nine on the report. First tracks down PK. Best run down flippers of my life.

But, what is up with all the heavy snow lately? No complaints (because it was awesome), but I am not used to it.

Lexi, how did the praxis' work out today?

Hah, you call this snow 'heavy'? After a couple years in the PNW, I'm cuttin' this stuff up...

My guess with the Ridge closing would be wind-loading...it was ripping up there in places.

I think my brake is dragging on the snow due to my shitty bend job, so I switched em out around 11. Good snow again today, nice huck!!

Bump...people up for tomorrow?

I'm up for some early riding before the 10-buck-day hordes set in.
