looking for light SS crank and BB

So the jamis 29, SS is on the way, Can't ride it untill next year, but looking to put in on a big diet. claimed weight is #25, I'd like it around #21ish

Have AM classic wheels and headset, syntance stem/bar/post, stans rim strips and crow tires, FSA seat ti railed seat.

now, what crank and BB to go with.

The goal is light, and "normal" parts. I dont want to use a crank that needs some bizzare tool to extract it, or some rings that only fit that crank.

Get some old cook bros racing cranks off ebay, they just use a square taper bottom bracket.

Or some sweet anodized Kooka cranks would be sweet...

Or here ya go, some cheap older XTR arms. These are bombproof and pretty damn light. http://cgi.ebay.com/Shimano-XTR-M952...QQcmdZViewItem

Get the XTR's, the 4 bolt XT spider fits on those.
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

The things you find on the net.
