Anybody have boot/binding recommendations for a split board setup? I'm thinking of going with A/T boots but thought I'd poll those who know before dropping too much coin.

I'd give hardbooting a try before you spend the money on a setup. For a lot of people it just feels wrong. I have used a couple of different a/t boots and it seems that the softer and lighter the better for the most part. I had never used hardboots before and it was a definite adjustment to get used to. Powder still feels a lot more surfy/fun with soft boots.
Something along the lines of a tlt4, g-lite, etc.
Here's a thread on AT boots for splitboards: http://splitboard.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=7.

Hardboots are great. There are a few different binding options if you are going to put them on a splitboard. My first hard snowboard boots were Dynafit Tourlites back around 1989 and I've been riding hard boots for all my snowboarding ever since. In pow you may find that you prefer riding them in walk mode. Look on splitboard.com. Bomber makes the most rock-solid binding option, but people also take old Burton race plates (available pretty cheap if you look on eBay or bomberonline.com's classifieds). You just take the toe and heel pieces off and bolt them straight to the voile plates. There are some limitations like its harder to adjust cant and toe/heel lift (you won't notice this as a problem if you haven't ridden hard boots with good bindings before). Also I've heard that its hard to set up with steep angles - but again, that's not likely to be a problem if you don't ride steep angles anyway. I ride 60/57 and have been told that I may have trouble setting up the pucks and stuff to work at those angles. Then again, any split board I'd get wouldn't require angles like that since it would be wider than my standard 18cm boards.
This month's Couloir mag has a section with people outlining their splitboard setups.
