I was up near Rollins Pass this morning/afternoon and it was coming down at a nice clip too- probably 1-2" an hour.

I was in C-Dale today and they have no snow near the valley floor. All roads should be in good shape. Maybe even up to the lake.

Yeah, its always a crapshoot, especially depending on where ya check. NOAA said snowmass would get trace amounts to 2 inches today and 7-10 tonight. At least they may open the pass if we get skunked

Thomas Lakes? The last time I was up there you could no longer drive up to Thomas Lakes, the road was closed about 2-3 miles below the lakes. Beautiful hike, spectacular mountain, I'd love to get that one in winter. I would imagine that even in winter you'd be able to get pretty close to the summer trailhead since the starting elevation is pretty low. Anyone ever done Sopris in winter here?

He probably meant Dinkle Lake, where the TH is. It's only 8500' so probably stays snow-free much of the time.

well, the lift was visible about half an hour ago. obviously, the persistent nukage has covered up the cam. that's a good sign. let's hope this continues for the next 24 hours.
