Seasonal Predictions have been updated on the Climate Prediction site.

    http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/product...churchill.html

These were updated today, October 19th. FAR from optimal for the Northwest (which is where I am...)

I'll be tipping a bottle this evening to cheers to these being DEAD wrong...

    Nov. - Jan

    Above Average temperatures. (http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/product...off01_temp.gif)

    Below Average Precipitation. (http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/product...off01_prcp.gif)

It gets worse for later in the winter...

    Jan. - Mar

    Above Average Temperatures. (http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/product...off03_temp.gif)

    Below Average Precip. (http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/product...off03_prcp.gif)

Not very hopeful for the PNW, but I still feel it won't be as bad as two seasons ago. Certainly not the year we had last season, but I think we'll have some days.

viva la pineapple express (possibly)- which would salvage JH's season (possibly) but it certainly is lookin like almost time to check Taos' rental situation...
Altabird or Taos god life sucks.
I only get to move back home once every five years! the funny thing is taos' best season is usually comparable to a normal one in UT... without the pow frenzy, of course...

BTW Zappa your boy killed it last night in Denver with some of your bros...

Well, it has been unnaturally warm and dry around here so far this fall. Looks like we're coming up on another unseasonably sunny, dry stretch too. Ugh. Hope this turns around quick. Last year was soooo good.
