Just bought the mixmaster also. The Dillion group are really easy to deal with, they are good people (so are the Cheap Sports, and Great Pacific Iron Works peps.)

When I called the outlet the girl that helped me had just bought one for herself and a couple of her friends, which seems like a good sign. The white smoke is supposed to be for milder weather, I believe.

You can call Patagonia in Dillon directly, and if they have it, order with a credit card, and have it shipped anywhere. I am in California if that helps. Beware the fit of the Mixmaster is a little odd. The large was way too big for me, so i replaced it with a medium, and it fits a bit snug. It is a very close fitting jacket, even for a patagucci. I haven't used it yet, no snow in California , but I am going to ski the man made ice tomorrow, I am desperate.
