    Updated Mini-forecast!

Thursday; Cold in the morning, and showery snow all day, things taper off late in the PM.

Friday; Friday looks like an AMAZING day, should have sunshine breaking through and man, I can't wait to see what goes down in LCC!!! Blue skies, some fresh pow, and a mini? What's up with that?

Saturday; Morning looks like increasing clouds, then a storm moves in. This was the storm originally forecast for Friday night into Saturday, but it's slowed down, and that means...

Sunday; Could be a very interesting day.

    That it all.

I'm picking up Frizzo and Tuffy Thursday morning to head to the bird, anyone else need a lift or want to meet, shoot me a PM!

    "Hello Skiers,

This is the snow report from Alta at 5:30pm on Friday, February 6th.

Ski conditions might get better, somewhere in the world, but I doubt it. 26” of snow in the past few days gave us a blue bird day of skiing today, and another storm with heavy snowfall is expected to arrive tomorrow.

Right now at Alta, we have clear skies overhead, winds are light and it is 16 degrees at the Wildcat base. The total snowfall this season is currently at 394” and settled snow base depth at mid-mountain is now at 106”.

Tonight, we’re expecting a new system to roll in bringing cloudy skies, moderate winds, and a low temperature near 16 degrees. Tomorrow’s weather forecast calls for 5-9” of snow, moderate winds with strong gusts, and high temperature near 27 degrees. The extended forecast calls for this new storm to be potent with periods of heavy snow and it’s expected to continue through Tuesday.

At this time, the road into Little Cottonwood Canyon is open. During the winter months, the State requires you to have snowtires on your vehicle or to carry chains in your vehicle when driving in the Canyon.

We'll update this message by 6:00am tomorrow or as conditions warrant. Thanks for checking the snow report skiers and have a fun adventure out there!"
