I know this is not the smartest thing to do. However, I know some people have had success.
What is the best way to set up the bindings for AT boots?

Ahh, yes.
If only our Jong had attempted a well crafted search query.
Perhaps he could have found something on point?

I'd just look at the new Scarpa boot that has a rubber sole but meets DIN standards, I forget the exact name, but its in the Powder gear guide. Seems like the best compromise if you aren't gonna be doing long tours and want a warm, comfortable, moderately flexing boot that you can walk around in with a reasonable amount of comfort.
Yeah, he jonged himself, but lets give Dan here a little credit. He knew he was going to get hammered and he is a small business, so odds are high he doesn't have time to follow the soap opera that is at TGR Turns.
At least he knew not to post this over at the telewhacker board.
New Solly S914s have both adjustabile vertical AND a sliding AFD...might actually be sort of safe to do it nowadays...
