Jackson Lodging October 19-24

i may be a complete Jong for posting this here, but figured with it being off season more people might see it.

i'm taking the girlfriend up to jackson for the weekend October 19-24. i was planning on staying at the hostel, but their website looks like they will be closed. i've sent an email, but no response yet. my family used to own a cabin behind teton villlage. now, its not so much a village anymore, and the cabin is now my aunts who we don't speak to. needless to say, i really have no clue where to stay there.

any leads on a maggot owned/worked lodging establishment near/in jackson or teton village? i'm looking for dirt cheap. i know it's like saying i want to stay in deer valley for cheap, but still.

I think the cheapest place would be the Motel 6. They go down to around $30 a night in the off season/winter. i don't know if they're down that low yet. Give em a call 307-733-1620

how much do you value maggot-owned vs. cheap?

you have the good fortune of being here doing a super-slow time.

i'd recommend you call the following places and ask for their best deal:
* trapper inn
* wagon wheel
* motel 6
* super 8

all are in the town of jackson + they're often willing to cut special deals if you ask/negotiate a little.

I think Teton Gables is pretty cheap too - 307-733-3723
and the new restaurant there - Cutty's - is an ok place for a beer and a burger.
