Well, on the two week anniversary of the crsh here is the TR documenting the return. I hope this fufills everybodies curiosity about flying on a medivac Lear Jet so none of you ever has to repeat it.
There are many photos, so bear with me.
The journey begins with meetinng the Canadian flight nurses. Dave has concluded that in genral Canadian nurses are 50-80 lbs better looking than most US nurses.
The entourage.
Tom helps save Dave's life inthe ER. Thanks Tom.
Da plane boss, da plane.
In you go!!
Hold tight!!
I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again. (never Colorado is hell on his kidneys)
Every seat has a window and an isle.
Our plane looked like this one... but ours was moving at the time.
down the runway!!!
Interior shot.
Good bye Grand Junction.
Going home makes us very happy.
Airline food a la Denny's. Somehow I'm not sure "regular diet" from the hospital's point of view included a club sandwich and oinion rings, BUT:
Dave's first BACON!!!!!
Random pretty snow covered mountains, probably southern WYG.

The Tetons. The piolet could see JH ski runs, but the glare from the sun was intense.
Piolet's eye view.
I'm to sexy for my Lear.
Pretty sunset, probably over Castle.
Most leg room I've had on a flight.
Yeah!! The Saddledome (or whatever they are calling it these days) and OUR mountains on the horizon.
Where's my ambulance. We sat on the tarmac for 1 3/4 hours until Calgary Health Region managed to free up a transfer vehicle. Yeah socialized medicine. (not)
Well, Thats all I wrote fer now. I can't concentrate cuz Dave is using his packing tape gun to box up skies. I think mntlion is getting better and slowly getting back into business. (and he's really board, walking around the block isn't that exciting in spite of how exhausiting it is.)
Thanks for all the support gang and we'll see a bunch of you at Freshtivale at the MSP show.
