Hey, these things are showing up Vt. Price Chopper magazine racks before you guys are gettn em in the mail (albeit, a lot more expensive).

What's with the new Powder "look" and the froo-froo script predominant throughout the latest issues?

if DT or any of the other powder folks read this thread they should know the new issue (the one after Coombs) is very hard to find.
magazine shops in New York; nada.
I have flown a lot in the last 2-3 weeks. shops in JFK, Newark, Salt Lake and OHare airports: nada, not even the old issues. Ski, STransworld snowboarding, Outside, sure. No Powder
I think you would want to target the folks that fly thru them this time of year.

I shoul be getting my sub starting soon (signed up after the IMPRESSIVE first issue,) but find it is interesting that the mag has no visibility in these major markets at the moment.

Powder customer service is still dog crap. It too me 3 weeks of email to get them to put the sept issue in an envelope and fvcking send it to me. Oct has yet to show up so I bet it'll be the same bullshit.

It's really too bad that Powder Magazine doesn't have it's own message board/web forum.

No go on our Chi-town trip this time around, C. I have to stay home with the yard apes. Guess I'll have to bug you some other time.

    It'll happen - especially with $100 R/T fares.

Thanks for bringing that up, Woodsy. I've noticed it lacking around here, too. Not at the Albertsons that usually carries it, and nothing at Barnes and Noble, either. I did see it in the Seattle airport last weekend.

The November issue might be a little late. The printers fucked up our logo--printed it grey instead of silver--and we're battling them right now to get them reprinted. (As frustrating as this is for you guys, think how much it sucks to work hard putting together a good issue, and find out that no one is getting it, or that the printer just decided to print 4 color instead of the 5th we paid extra for).

Your best bet is to go through powder.com, and do it now so you don't miss Photo Annual.
