hmm..
i wonder if I could do that. they looked like 8 ounce cups.. so it's basically a 48 ounce chug.
I'm going to try drinking 48 oz of water right now..
yep.. chugged 48 oz of water. that was about my limit though. add carbonation, and I might not be able to handle it.
That's not an 8 oz cup. Looks more like a 16 oz cup, and probably 12 oz of beer in each cup.
9 oz cups were regulation beirut size at Lehigh. We went through a lot of them. They're much smaller.
compare that to a pint glass (16 oz). nowhere near the size. they also seemed smaller than a standard 12-oz can of beer.
plus, they're not exactly full. i'm sticking with 8-oz.
Pint glasses are made of thick glass. (Also, you'd be surprised to know that at a lot of bars, "pint" shaped glasses actually have only a 12 oz. capacity. They're shaped the same way as a pint glass, but have thicker glass at the bottom. It pissed me off the first time I figured it out by pouring a bottle of beer into an empty glass at a bar.)
Next time you're at the supermarket, check out the plastic cups and you will discover that you are wrong.
those are just clear red cups - 12oz in each.
