Did you invite your cardiologist over to help you finish it off?

Never had a real deep dish before but that looks pretty damn good. What kind of goodies is that thing filled with?

Remarkably, the Italians seem to espouse the opposite, and make em as flat as possible.

    Giordano's.

They closed the original Gino's East location and moved to the former Rainforest Cafe building. It sucks ass now and is nothing more than a tourist trap.

what you have there ain't pizza - but it does remind me a little of pizzarustica - which is more of a pie than pizza. yum.

The deep dish is the Ford Expedition of pizza. Bigger is not necessarily better. Nonetheless, that looks infinitely better than any pizza I've seen here in Seattle (save for one at this restaurant I went to last week).

Giordano's is about a block from his house... can't blame him.

I definitely the miss pizza. And copious amount of sluts at clubs.

    Thumbs down

amen Woodsy. That ain't pizza. It's a cheesecake made to look like a pie. Thin crusters unite! A loaf of Wonder bread is never an ingredient in pizza.

So I've got a question. In my mind, that's not a deep dish pizza, that' Chicago Style. To me, deep dish just means lots of dough with a normal top. Not stuffed like Chitown style pie. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

And while Chigaco style pizza can be very good, the Iwops have it right. Thin with the perfect little hint of crispiness.

Lou's crust is a thing of beauty, but truth be told, Giordano's pizza is better as a whole. If they could merge Lou's crust to Giordano's pie you'd have the uber Chi-town pizza.

I did grow up on Lou's, but as mitch said g's is a block from my loft and given last nights hurricane like storm I wasn't going very far.

I thought Deep Dish = Chicago Style. Lots of dough sounds like a half-ass attempt (like Uno's, for the DC/MD mags) of a real Chicago-style deep dish.
