Great condition, about 2 years old. $300 including FedEx Ground shipping to 48. It comes in original box with software CD’s, power cord, and VGA adfapter to hook it up to an external projector or VGA monitor. A great deal for surfing the net around your house or when traveling.

New battery! Got a new one as a result of battery recall! About 1 day old.

DVD/CD-RW (does not write DVD's just CD's, plays DVD's)

That's a smoking deal for the exact same laptop that I'm typing this on. It's a great laptop. We've had no problems with it and it's plenty fast to do just about anything.

Okay, I know this goes by turns. But I'm going to put in a desperate hope 6th dibs or whatever number I ended up, because I need this. I'm a university student, I'm in debt thousands of dollars with no hop ein sight, I can't even afford to get all the textbooks I need, and my laptop has only recently completely died. I am hopelessly lost without it, but I can't even come close to being able to afford 1200$ to replace it. I'm typing this on one of the computers in the lab at school. This could actually change the status of my life completely... for one thing, I wouldn't be stuck here until 7pm or later all the time.

Not asking for special treatment. Just illustrating that desperate need might play a role in determining this outcome if everyone would be willing to allow it to happen. I don't expect anything, but you cannot comprehend how grateful I would be... So I thought it would be worth trying.

It's not like I was hanging over the refresh, waiting for a kill. My reply was an hour and a half past Mcwops original post. The two other maggot items that I've purchased were nabbed days after their original posting.
