OB barrels

My hour lunch turned into a 4-hour barrelfest in clean glassy head-high lefts and rights. Had the choice of three peaks all to myself since the crowd was minimal. Picked off any wave I wanted and it was so warm that I didn't need my hood and booties.

The only thing that pissed me off was that there were so many waves I couldn't even sit for a breather. As soon as I paddle back to the lineup I have no choice but to pick off the next sets. Now I'm all tired. boohoo.

I like Mondays. Everyone else is at work.

my lunch was me checking the cams and then going back to work on uni stuff cause there hasnt been decent surf in ch ch for weeks. I was sore from the weekend anyways

on a more positive note the odd lunch ses that ends up lasting into the evening is a beautiful thing. Responsibilities are forgotten and arms turn to noodles

surf condition in san diego county. havent seen a set over waist high. need a swell to come through here soon. that SW that rolled through about two and half weeks ago was such a tease.

I'm not sneezing at it, though. I got great waves every day for about 8 days straight. Haven't had that in a long time. Ready for my next dose, though. It was a rough summer in SD. July and August were pure flat torture.
