Seth Vicious 06/07 graphics vs. mounting?

......... Anyone knows if the midsole and corecenter on the 06/07 model are back 2 cm again this year, like it was last year?

the 06/07 "the seth" has the mounting graph in the right place — well it was on my pair at least. i'd still measure your pair and make sure tho.

this is good practice on any pair of skis actually.

i can tell ya one thing for sure tho... the 189's looks like fuckin pure sex with ninja 916's on em

i havent measured them yet either... but when i picked up mine today from getting them mounted @ +2 they sit only an inch longer than my 179 PE's at the tip and maybe 2 at the tail...

and yes they do look sexy with my look's on em!

These 179's will be primarily a soft snow tree ski for me. +2 the best point? 5'10" 195, 305mm shell.

Used them last year for the same purpose including bit of freestyle. Had them at +4. Noproblemo at all.
Other ski was the Made'n 189 at +3.

Will be skiing the same ski's (model '07) this year, probably with the same setup, adding the Pontoon 189 to the quiver.

If its your only ski you could stay at +3 or so but remember last years model had at 2cm set back with the graphics. I think I would still ski at +4 if it was my only ski.

It is not my "only" ski. I have some [ducking]Atomic M11 B5's[/Ducking] as my trail ski, Blizzard Titan 9's 181 for speed and crud and these for deep east/MRG and my trip to Steamoat. Idealy I would have liked a 189, but my son will be using them from time to time.

+3.5 on my 05-06 SV's. No tip dive in deep pow. A lot quicker in tight spots compared to mounting at 0. Be sure to make note of which model SV when getting opinions from others. The older (pre 06-07) ones were off by +2 on the graph. In other words, +2 on my SV's is 0 on the 06-07's. Confused yet??

In that case, +2 would be good & would also go well with the mohawk

    mounted them today.
Scale on the 05/06 model is at exactly the same position as the 06/07 model !
