Attention Colorado Mags....Who do YOU trust?

Who would you trust to mount up a pair of thousand dollar fat skis with solly 916's? Iggies will be here in a few hours and I can't afford to have the shop screw it up! So I'll start by telling myself that Boulder ski deals is out of the question...I herd racer's edge in Brek is good, any others?

    What about Gart's?

I would nix any shops in Boulder. I got my Stocklis mounted at the Sports Garage. Turned out fine. However, they also tuned up a pair of G4s and they turned out very amateurish (p-tex falling out after 1 day on the slopes ).

Racer's Edge is good and the owner is super cool. Precision ski in Frisco is good (although sometimes they've got the big A going).

Any shop that isn't in the city. Depot or Sport Shop if you're in WP. Other than that I don't know.

You must see Tommy at Christy's in Dillon. Regardless of what you may think of Christy Sports in general, Tommy has been the head tech there for about 7 years and is very methodical and has lots of experience with every type of setup. He has a great local following up there and many of long time people will only see him. Just my 2 cents but that's where I'd go.

If you're in Summit, Racer's Edge is the only place.

Vail, Rob at Buzz's or Davis at Pepe's will treat you right.

My buddy works at Colorado Ski and Golf in Arvada...they've got a lot of nice skis down there and the techs know what they're doing. Ski Deals charged me $60 to repair my blown edge and it was out again three ski days later...$20 at Ski and Golf to redo the fix and I've put 6-10 days on with no problems.

I've also had good luck with repairs and mounts at Edgeworks in Denver. They also have a quick turn around most of the time.

Bring it to the shop I work at. We are fast, reliable, and always remeasure.
Fresh mount will be $33 and done quickly. www.mountainviewsports.com
    Crinkle will vouch.
