This thread started because the bindings I had ordered hadn't shown up. They are here now and I am a happy skier
I can recommend the guy who sells them. He was helpful and honest and (apart from what seems to have been a 2am drunk/stoned/very confused message and failing to give me the tracking number) very competent.
[rant]The bindings were delayed because the fucking UK postal service delivery guy couldn't be bothered to write a note saying he had tried to deliver them so they sat in a warehouse for 2 weeks. Dicks. I am especially pissed over that because I paid extra for express shipping because I wanted to get them mounted on something in La Grave and didn't have them. Worse, the UK mail service charged me $35 for rapid handling then fucked up the delivery. Tossers. [/rant]
Anyway I am happy now. I have my bindings and didn't even have to call anyone a thief to get them

Well, it's like this. I approached the guy who has been selling Freerides for $185 early in January and arranged to buy some from him for that price plus $44.75 for Global Express Mail to ship them to the UK which I paid by PayPal. I still haven't got the bindings.
The guy has been helpful and has answered my emails but seems really confused/lame. He said originally that he would ship them immediately, then that he had been too busy, then ill. Then he said he HAD shipped them but gave no tracking number. When they didn't arrive I asked for the tracking number but he said they had been returned to him because they couldn't be shipped to a PO Box in Canada. Well, I live at a residential address in the UK - not at a PO Box in Canada. Hence I think he's a little confused - maybe I am just being naive here though...
My question is this: do I wait and see if he gets his act together or do I make a complaint to Paypal to try to get my money back? The deadline when I need to do that (30 days after the payment) is approaching in a few days so I need to work out what to do now. I was planning to give him 24hrs notice to provide proof he has sent them with the consequence (threat?) that I would start the ball rolling to get my money back if he doesn't.
I know that this guy has sold to lot of people around here. He also has a good ebay record (for what it's worth when not buying on ebay). That is why I was inclined to trust him. However, I am in no financial state to take a hit of nearly $230 if the bindings never arrive. WWMD?
