    Butter

    So I know that bacon is the local favorite around here but is anyone else into butter? I can’t seem to get enough of it, especially on sourdough bread.

    oops, I mean "I can't believe it's not butter", regular cubed butter is so damn hard to spread and more fatting.

    I used to put a whole square of butter on one saltine when I was about 8 years old... It's good shit.

    "Normal" butter sucks. It's all about the "european" butter. Kerrygold Irish butter is really good too.

    I loves me some country crock. I used to think I liked things like blueberry muffins and banana bread, but I later found they were just innocent vehicles for butter delivery. Warm blueberry muffins or banana bread with melting butter on top rocks my freaking socks right off my cock (I stuff to look big, when I go to grocery stores).

    I Can't Believe It's Not Butter?!?! Country Crock?!?!

    You fucking butter gapers, jesus christ. It's fucking real butter or nothing, for me. All that chemical shit will make your cock rot...and then meatdrink will really have some sock problems.

    God damn gapers...I suppose you eat turkey bacon instead of the real thing, too.

    Agreed.

    But there's that stuff that you can spread that's made out of olive oil. Not bad at all for toast.

    I decided this morning that bacon is the most serious geometry problem in my life. How to put it in a round pan? Seriously - it's tougher than getting high heels into a suitcase.

    Yeah that chemical crap is nasty. Butter is good. Good olive oil is great for dipping bread into, though, especially with a little quality parmesan and some black pepper mixed in with it.

    Real butter for me too. I'm not eating hydrogenated crap just so it spreads better. If I want it soft I can stick it in the microwave.

    (Organic cultured butter is best)

    While I do eat the pseudo butter mostly, I would never use that spray on stuff…that is just nasty. We do have real butter in the house for cooking, I guess I’m just to lazy to wait for it to soften when I want to eat it right away. I’ll have to check out some of the other real butter suggested too. Are most of them available at regular grocery stores? Thanks!

    Euro butter has higher butterfat. Creamier. There are a few brands at the grocery store that are the same. Look for the higher price tag.

    Whenever I have the money I buy organic dairy and eggs. I am so freaked out by the way those creatures live and by what's put into their bodies. And the prices are getting better all the time.

    The only thing better than spreading butter is using it to cook food.
    Butter has a magical property, its called the point of fragance.
    Butter is most definitely better.

    butter really does rock.

    I cook with it quite a bit, and sometimes I do a mix of butter and olive oil, which works well.

    And European butter is soooo good. Love that Trader Joe's carries it and it's not too pricey.

    Butter = good

    PHO's = bad

    I use one of those fancy cheese slicers to cut off a thin piece of butter when its too cold to spread

    Real butter fo sho. And speaking of Trader Joe's, we're finally getting one in Bellingham! Where Red Apple at James and Alabama used to be.

    You need one of these:
    www.frenchbutterdish.com

    It keeps the butter fresh at room temp. Good for cooking and spreading.

    I dont mean to sounds like a pothead, hippie, treahugger, or health freak, but I have recently started eating Hemp butter. Its probably the best butter Ive ever had, and its 100% organic. Its so good and has the best aftertaste and its healthy for you. I recomend it to everyone.
