    PUSH at squaw 10/7

Two showings are listed 7 and 9 pm. Seems like most of the other dates with two showtimes are showing Pull as well as Push. Is this the case here and it's not mentioned or is Push just showing twice. I only ask because it seems odd that both wouldn't be shown. I figure a gaffney or someone else in the know could provide some info. Thanks

    And also.........who's goin?

It's PUSH twice. The first show tends to be a little tamer, yet comfortable, and the second is packed like a bunch of howling, fired up sardines. Take your pick. Don't arrive too late for the second show. You may not have the best viewing angle.

    Thanks.

So no pull showing around tahoe........

This is the evil ploy to just get me to buy it since I can't see it right?

    Brilliant

    you got it

i heard MSP is doing this at alot of showings, so that it forces you buy the flick just see the pull film.

So i sat down and watched Yearbook last week for the first time. I must say, i thought the movie sucked balls. i was totally bored after like 20 minutes. i didn't flow for shit.

am i crazy or does anyone else feel this way as well?

Anyway, I'll be there for sure with my g/f, sons, and extra kid at the OVI for the Squaw showing. I'll try to get the gang to go for the late show; we'll eat dinner in The Village or less likelyTruckee/ Tahoe City first. If anybody wants to join us for grub that could be fun.

I think Biosmear and g/f and Corky and Mrs. Corky will there too. I don't know about El Chucab.

Seats go quick but you can always stand in the back and rub shoulders with other ski hungry nuts.
Last year the showing for HIT LIST was good: crowd was stoked and when they show Tahoe footage esp Squaw the fever gets rampant!

Yearbook was decent, not that much flow I guess but I liked Hugo's segment, Eric H does a really sweet line half way throuh the film (watch his seg in the extras with McGovern for more). Pollard has a sweet jumping segment as well. Hit List was better in terms of skiing, and the athlete edits are good.

MSP has really bad soundtracks though, usually a few good tracks, a bunch of mediocere and a few terrible songs.

Push was pretty good. Much better than the last few MSP flicks. They always have too much park stuff though. Mike Wilson is not right in the head and Rory Bushfield is pretty sick in the park. Hjorliefson and McConkey have great segments and Ingrid is the hottest ski chick out there, period end of discussion.

    Oh snap!! How true!

I owe you a drink on Oct 7. Did you see me McGovern the Palisades that day when I was up there with Mr and Mrs Corky, Mc_Poser, AK Powder Monkey, and AlkaSquawlik briefely graced us with his presence?

I think I was at alpine that day but remember the conversation.

I'm actually thinking about going to the early show.......since I have to buy pull and go home and watch it immediately after.

If you're going later that could change....

I need to introduce some of you guys to a friend of mine. Corky met him at closing day at mammoth but he's got a mt rose pass this year (the first year I won't have one). I have a feeling he'll find some abnormal lines in the chutes. He's like that.

    I'm open to either showing.

Always good to hook up with another nut to hit the Rose Chutes with.
