Well , Babylonia is in the midst of small dispute that does seems to cause a bit of inconvenience for the local populace.
As far as America we got some pretty fucked up people running the country now and until we can get rid of these selfish , shortsighted pigs we are pretty much fucked
So ski more ,think of politics less for the near term. You gonna vote this November or be one of the sheep? And you know what those cowboys in office like to do with their sheep.

please don't mistake the following's flippancy for a lack of dead seriousness or a lack of concern for the state of the nation:

Every generation reviews the current state of affairs and bemoans how bad it is compared to the good old days. It's called getting old.

    Happy Birthday Baby.

Biggest thing for everyone to do: vote. SO MANY people bitch and moan about politics and incumbents, and ask a room of bitchers how many of them voted, you can count on it being less than a quarter. Hypocrites.

Not implying you of course, but this is my pet peeve as of late, keep getting exposed to it, want to remind everyone to vote!
This touchy-feely Kumbaya shit has got to go.

Voting democrat in Teton county Idaho is about as effective as trying to kill Grizzlies with a water balloon. I do it anyway, tho'.

What's more alarming to me is how few good comedy movies there are these days. That's more alarming to me. We're doomed if we only see depressing shit and the funny shit is no longer.

Like a gnat in a windstorm . They sure believe in the one party system there don't they.? I am so close to Idaho I can almost spit that far . Wind aided of course. We get the spill over effect in our local politics also from being so close to the reddest of the red states

What is wrong with our country?

Just from a political standpoint, IMO most of our elected representatives who've taken an oath to uphold and defend the constitution against all enemies foreign & domestic are in violation of that oath and are instead beholden only to the special interests they sold their souls to to get elected, all at the expense of we the people.

Well not much besides Pediphiles are treaded better then people with a little bit sticky green or LSD. Oil prices are low and "09.28.06, 1:53 PM ET The Dow Jones Industrial Average briefly crossed 11,722.98, the record close set Jan. 14, 2000, rising to 11,724.86 in early trading" from Forbes.com. Vote and if you live in a blue state vote often.

I don't think I have ever seen so many limousine liberals convene in one place.....

I'm afraid the average american is busting their balls trying to put food on the table for their family, put their kids through college and maybe take a week of vacation once a year. It is a shame they can't refresh cnn.com every 30 seconds to keep up with the worlds woes....

Do you realize that you've just posted an admission of ignorance so breathtaking that it disqualifies you from commenting on any political or economic threads from here on out?

I may not own the bus but as a fare paying passenger aren't I entitled to be annoyed when someone takes a dump on it?

It seems there are so many above average Americans that think the average American is an idiot. This skews the curve such that there is not an average American. Leaving the only conclusion that there are no average Americans. We are either idiots or we are not. Of course, no one will ever think they are an idiot, so that means there are no idiots.

I don't think Sock Boy meant any harm, he just learned a new phrase and wanted to use it in a sentence.....its common sensical, it means it makes sense.

The biggest story I covered today was a Comedian (Borat/AliG/Sasha Cohen) giving a fake news conference in front of the Kazakh Embassy.

    Seriously.

It's not our (the media's) fault, folks - we just peddle what you want to buy. We get more e-mails about Pam Anderson's boobs than we do about "No Child Left Behind."

That sure is the truth. I lost all faith in the "average American", when the #1 TV show was "Dukes of Hazard" for several seasons. Baywatch and boobs just keeps reinforcing my opinion. American media sucks, not due to the providers, but because "we" insist on it being banal.
