fine
Looking forward to the DVD (since it will never come to this town), let me know how it is.
Saw it in NYC last weekend. It ruled.
The trumpet scatters its awful sound Over the graves of all lands Summoning all before the throne
Death and mankind shall be stunned When Nature arises To give account before the Judge
Saw it last night. It fucking sucked. Shitty camerawork, shitty sound, no Dead Kennedys and a lot of other missing stories/bands. Only thing going for this director-dork was a good idea for a movie....thanks to the book someone else wrote.
Just saw it and I thought it was pretty good. There are a lot of bands missing, but to throw them all in there would make a 6 hour movie. A few OC bands are glossed over - Agent Orange, D.I., the Vandals. They talk to Hetson and Gurewitz, but there's no Bad Religion footage. The only 'nard core band they mention is Dr. Know. Anyone seen "Rage: 20 Years of West Coast Punk"? I thought "American Hardcore" was better, but, like Slip, I'm still waiting for the definitive masterpiece.
BTW, what the fuck is up with Phil Anselmo? Dude was off his ass.
Edit: How much did this thing cost them to make? I rented it at Blockbuster, and all but one of their copies were out, so you know someone is making money. Slip, I'm sure you could put together something better.

I liked it. I kind of accept that it's not The Full and Complete Story of It All but fuck it, I enjoyed watching it.
Also Suburbia
never heard of it
Never heard of what? "Specificity?"
