    Mammoth 1/31-2/1 TR

Great weekend at up Mammy! Got third gondy up to the top on saturday. It had snowed a little overnight and considering the fact that the top was closed for most of friday because of winds, the conditions were better then expected. Fresh on top of great windblown made for some great great turns. Got first tracks into Hangmans which was great. Did some laps in P3-4, Dave's and all the way skier's left on climax until about 10 when people started showing up. Still managed to get some great lines in MJBs and off Dragon's Back and Tail. Great day overall.
Sunday was awesome because there were no crowds (something about some foosball game). Just lapped 23 and the gondy. It snowed all day so the conditions were good. Tweaked my back a bit at around 1 so had to stop early but got my fill by then. Overall, one of the better weekends of the season for me, considering i've missed all the big dumps.

every time delhomme touched the ball, everyone started doing their best waterboy imitation. you think it would get tired real quick, but it didn't.

Dude, how's P4 right now? It was pretty sketchy three weeks ago, and it ain't snowed much.

Is that the one on the far skier's left on the ridge?

If so, the entrance is a bit sketch, but doable in a bunch of places and the snow was actually decent.

Well, they got some snow friday night and the top was closed for most of friday. Snow was actually quite good in P3-4. Had to jump a rock or two at the very top but once in it was very nice, not tracked up. Phillipe's looked great but the exit was really sketchy, rock drop to bulletproof or stepping over rocks. Did it 2 weeks ago and the skis were still unhappy so they wouldn't let me do it this weekend
I was very pleasantly surprised this weekend, Saturday especially. I heard they are supposed to get 1 1/2 to 2 feet in the next 2 days, of course right after i leave....
