That's K2 telemark Mr. Butterball. I would put nothing but S916's on Tablas if/when I get the chance.

My fault sellout. Could you mount those at 314mm sole length when you get them? That'd be grrrrrrreat, thanks.

Coming back to Valley X after spending six days in a remote part of Norway's Jotunheimen not only did I find out that my home mountain's been going totally off over the last couple of days - while I spent those very same days touring in the worst whiteout conditions you can imagine (it was so shitty we had to use GPS to find our way back), sleeping in a freezing hut beeing woke up in the middle of the night by a famous Swedish freeskier who couldn't resist screaming in his sleep and almost drowned while towing after a snow mobile - but I also found my Tablas standing around with the bindings set up for a shorter sole length, with some more dings at the tips, one base had a long core shot close to the edge and maybe the worst of 'em all, one ski had even been molested with a Mt Baker sticker...

The suspect had apparently left the scene of the crime for some remote banana republic overseas and the only traces to be found were a polar Buff (who the f#*k wears those anyway??) lying around at the kitchen table and my girlfriend's innocent pleads that she had promised not to say anything about the whole thing. A Karslquell anyone?

Not every day you get to bump a 20 year old thread on TGR with something relevant...

Full credit to Marshal for ebay sleuthing - these things are factory fresh. I bet they sat in a garage for decades before someone got too old to ski or died and their family put everything up on an estate sale not really knowing what they were.

Hahaha! All is right in the universe now. I have been a lurker here since this original thread lol. I saw these last week on eBay and with my new ski purchases tapped out for the season, I passed the link to Marshal knowing he would find the correct buyer for the ultimate unicorn.

If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

So freaking cool. My mind was altered forever when I spotted these in the tram at Jay midweek 20 years ago. Mounted with OG Fritchi binders too. I remember that Drake/Bonnay piece in Powder about that time.
A woman reported to police at 6:30 p.m. that she was being "smart-mouthed."
