Thumbs up Anyone want to feel good about belonging to this community?

Remember the Doug Coombs Memorial Poster? I know how could you forget, such circumstances.

The other day I was reminded of the poster and curiosity set in. Please enjoy reading the following series of e-mails between myself and Tim Petrick at K2:

    Hi Tim,

Once again, I would like to thank everyone at K2 for making the poster
fundraiser commb through for the Coombs family.

I was wondering if you knew how much money the poster raised to contribute
to the fund. I think the Maggots would like to know.

If you have the info and could let me know I would appreciate.

    Thanks again,

    H-man

Tim that is fantastic. I am so glad that this worked out so well and that
the sales will continue. Hats off to all of you for making this thing a
    reality.

    With greatest appreciation,

    Very cool.

I heard Marmot is making a pack that Coombs designed. Selling it, and donating all profits to the memorial fund as well.

    over 500 posters sold, sweet.

as an aside, I want to frame/mount my poster, but don't want to spend a fortune. anyone have any cheap ideas? Is it a standard size (i'd rather not take it out of its tube again, as it is already ripped)?

great place to frame posters. Done a few online. you can post a pic, and design your own frame and mount from there. takes 15min to put together and looks great.
